What's this doing on my bread blog? Well, my other love in life (besides Gene and Levi and baking bread) is quilting. It's what helps keep me somewhat sane and has brought many blessings to my life. I've met many fellow quilters around the world thru quilting and made most of my best friends that way, also. Ami Simms is a quilter from Michigan who is very involved in the AAQI - it's a great cause and I put the link on both of my blogs in honor of my wonderful step-father, Lincoln, who died of complications from ALZ. When I finish the bread class I'm going to make some quilts for this organization....
